In 2017, the association Komm Bleib: Wirtschaft macht Schule! Who is involved?
As we at SBH want to make working in tourism sexy again, we are represented at at least ten trade fairs every year with our companies and Dreamwork. The Wirtschaft macht Schule project is a project close to our hearts - because it is more than just a simple company presentation. In cooperation with the teachers of the new secondary schools, we have developed building blocks for the implementation of the concept.
The learning content in the schools is adapted to the requirements of the tourism industry over a longer period of time. For example, dough recipes are converted, offers are searched for and created, cooked and served. One morning per year is organized in team teaching with the teachers and pupils of the 3rd grade NMS.
In 2018 and 2019, Mr. Enzinger, our long-standing head chef, and Carina, our director, were able to inspire the children of the NMS about working in tourism and Dreamwork.
We are totally convinced of this approach and are delighted that we can present jobs in tourism to young people at first hand and thus give them the joy and interest in this unique field of activity.
What is Dreamwork?
Dreamwork is our employee brand. We deliberately don't call it employer branding (which is now on everyone's lips), because it's not the employer we want to focus on. We don't want to present ourselves as an employer, but rather our wonderful team, our employees, without whom everything would be nothing!
