Who are you and what do you do at SBH?
I am Krzysztof, and I was born in Poland. My job has a lot to do with entertainment, whether it's having fun with the guests or having a good time with my colleagues. That's very important to me, I'm always "live on stage"! By the way, I'm also responsible for the whole F&B area 😉
How long have YOU been part of the SBH crew?
Phew, I'm already part of the inventory... That means I started in the 2011 winter season as chef de partie in the main kitchen. Now I'm maître d'hôtel (editor's note: he's also known as the "service secret weapon") and a member of the task force.
What characterizes the DREAMWORK universe around the Saalbacher Hof?
Every employee can be who they are, everyone can contribute. We simply love characters. 😊 Apart from that, I am always amazed at how many opportunities are offered for personal development. I should mention, for example, the work assignments in the many different outlets, but also the many workshops that employees can take part in.
Besides work, what do you like to do?
I'm very interested in tennis! For example, we have a tennis court and an indoor tennis hall in Saalbach and Hinterglemm. When my "inner bastard" gets the better of me, I like to read, especially about topics such as fine wines, single malt whiskies or what new creations bartenders around the world are coming up with.
Why should you go to Saalbach?
In summer, it is above all this mixture of untouched nature and the many possibilities that the Saalbach mountains offer. You can slow down in no time at all. In winter, the region becomes the "place that never sleeps", where you can really have action, but just the way you like it. Lots of partying but also a sporting highlight with all the snow.
Which destination was your favorite place at DREAMWORK on the road and what travel suggestion do you have for this summer season?
My absolute favorite was our trip to Dublin. We really let it rip there. 😉 I'm not quite sure yet, but Tuscany would certainly be a hot candidate.
