A life at the limit. We want to achieve everything in a world where anything is possible. At 20, our dreams are big, at 30 the hangover is harder the next day and at 40 our bones start to ache, even though there is still so much to discover and experience. The passage of time - right?
We at Dreamwork see it differently. Not only does it make us happier to still feel like we were 20 at 40, but we also enjoy sharing this energy with our colleagues. Because together we are stronger.
My name is Kathy - and it gives me immense pleasure to help people maintain or even develop their maximum potential, both physically and mentally.
Our body is a high-performance engine
We tend to underestimate the high performance that our body achieves in this day and age - surrounded by unavoidable toxins and stress. At a young age, it is still able to balance these out very skillfully and we only notice the consequences of nights out drinking minimally. But the older we get, the more difficult it is for us to compensate for "stress".
Who doesn't know them, the sayings:
"Since I turned 30, I need two days to recover from partying!" or "You should turn 30 first!"
But why is that? Is 30 the magic threshold and everything goes downhill from here?
The human body is a miracle of regeneration and renewal. If we know HOW, we can support our body well into old age in dealing with toxins from our environment and the high demands (e.g. from work and sport).
And that is exactly my mission as a nutrition and lifestyle consultant.
My path to a healthy diet
My own story has taught me how a life at the limit, full of dreams and a body that can't cope, can be frustrating. Luckily, people crossed my path who showed me that it doesn't have to stay that way and my journey began.
For more than 15 years now, I have been researching the topic of nutrition with a few or rather countless self-tests.
Towards the desire to inspire people to live a life without
- physical pain
- Depression
- lack of drive and
- Self-doubt
to lead. Back to the strength that was still there at 18. Space for a life full of dreams and the courage to realize them.
Healthy eating = a better attitude to life
In my own studies, I very quickly realized that a change in diet and lifestyle not only improved my physical health and the way I felt in my body, but also helped me to regain my mental performance, which became clearer than ever before in my life.
Founding three companies was still a challenge, but I felt up to the test, whereas in my mid-20s, getting up in the morning was the first big hurdle of the day. This new courage led me to dedicate my passion not only to theoretical nutritional science, but also to the proper preparation of food.
From private chef to crew guru
For three years now, I have been able to support people in extraordinary situations in life to awaken to peak performance in extreme situations. I have accompanied actors, athletes, politicians, managers and people like you and me in their culinary and informative transformation.
But I knew I could do more and now I'm here - part of the Dreamwork crew at Saalbacher Hof.
Supporting not just one person, but an entire team. To enable a team of young, enthusiastic people to put their own well-being first, even in such demanding jobs as those found in seasonal work in the hotel industry in one of the most popular skiing and hiking areas.
I'm looking forward to sharing a culinary journey behind the stove with my colleagues from the SBH crew and the informative journey here on the Dreamwork blog on the way to more energy.

DREAMWORK TIP
Do you need 1-3 coffees in the morning to get your day off to a good start?
Have you put on 3-5 kg in the form of lifebuoys around your hips in the last few years?
Is the midday slump part of your everyday life?
Do you find it difficult to really concentrate for longer than 15 minutes?
Do you sometimes wonder about your own outbursts of anger, for example when driving?
If you can answer more than 2 questions with yes, then now is exactly the right time to change something in your everyday life. Your body is giving you clear signals. Here are 3 simple tips that you can integrate into your everyday life and that will make a significant contribution to your physical and mental health:
- Avoid gluten on work days. Instead, opt for alternatives such as sweet potatoes, rice or quinoa as a side dish or maybe even leave them out altogether.
- Try to develop a fixed sleep rhythm for yourself in which you rest between 7 and 8 hours a day. For me as an early riser, for example, sleep between 10 and 5 is the most restful. Find out your personal sweet spot.
- Get at least 30 minutes of fresh air every day. Either for a walk or simply to get some daylight and oxygen and read a book on a park bench or listen to a podcast episode.

This is great - such good information. I, too, have been on a health journey - it's true - we are what we eat 🙂
