It all started with a message in the Hotelkit, our communication tool at the Saalbacher Hof.

Hello dear girls (sorry boys)

Since everyone is so sporty, I've now let myself be infected (or rather I'm pretending to be :p) and had an idea.

You can also register as a team for the Iron Girl in Zell am See.

Maybe some of the ladies would like to join us? 🙂

We did this every year in my old hotel & it was always great fun 

It will take place on Friday, August 24, 2018. Start is at 5:30 pm.

The distance to be completed is 4.2 km. (I've taken part before & crossed the finish line, so it's doable for everyone)

What happened next is incredible.

• Within 7 hours there were 9 girls
• After 7 days, Isabella and Carina went running for the first time
• After 10 days, our marketing manager Sarah has designed some really cool T-shirts

This was followed by 7 training sessions in which everyone almost "died" at least once. But together we pushed ourselves so hard that no one fell by the wayside. Everyone encouraged each other to go for another run or gave each other tips on how to run without getting side stitches.

The anticipation, or whatever you want to call it, has grown with each passing day.

Then the time had come - August 24 had arrived 🙂

The feeling of being at the start with the SBH crew was simply MEGA! A real goosebump moment. Every one of us gave everything and of course we all crossed the finish line with a TOP time! Everyone was and still is extremely proud of themselves and the crew.

It goes even further - the Girls Run has developed into the SBH Crew & Guest Run. Today, the crew runs once a week with guests. Because running is simply twice as much fun in a group.
